October Property Auction: A Look at the Results
Town and Country’s October Auction proved to be another successful national online auction with over £7.8m in properties sold.
Over the course of the month, we listed a range of properties, including residential homes, commercial buildings, and vacant land across the UK.
The auction garnered significant attention from buyers across the country, eager to participate in the highly competitive bidding process. The allure of the properties on offer, resulted in a fierce competition among potential buyers.
Auction Highlights
This four bedroom detached bungalow was snapped up quickly prior to the Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire auction.
We saw competitive bidding in Sprowston Road, with over 16 bids the property sold for £130,000. The property offered an renovation opportunity to buyers in a popular location.
A predominantly flat parcel of land having significant road frontage to one of the main arterial routes into Chester city centre and having a potential for a number of uses subject to planning consent.
The property achieved 31 bids and sold for £126,000 achieving £31,000 over the Guide Price.
A total of 48 bids were placed on Eastbourne Road, Liverpool and the property sold for £80,500.
A total of 25 bids were placed on Dunvant Road. The properties offered a fantastic investment opportunity with a pair of semi detached in need of renovation. The properties sold for £262,000.
The Scotland Auction offered a terrific investment opportunity in the popular town of Kilmarnock. We saw huge interest in the property with a Guide Price of £10,000 and the property was purchased before auction.
The Manchester Auction featured a 2 bedroom mid terrace property in need of modernisation and was sold post auction.
The North East Auction featured an exciting investment opportunity, a 2 bedroom semi-detached was sold prior to the Auction.
The North West Auction featured an excellent high yield studio flat in the city centre. The property sold prior for £22,000.
A modern build top-floor apartment in Bournemouth featured in the South Auction. The property received a total of 11 bids and sold for £122,000.
Union Street offered a fantastic investment opportunity currently providing £18,000 per annum with the potential to increase dramatically.
