October Property Auction: A Look at the Results
Town and Country’s October auction proved to be another successful national online auction. Over the course of the month, we listed a range of properties, including residential homes, commercial buildings, and vacant land across the UK.
The auction garnered significant attention from buyers across the country, eager to participate in the highly competitive bidding process. The allure of the properties on offer, resulted in a fierce competition among potential buyers.
Auction Highlights
The Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire auction featured London Road, a three bedroom mid terrace property close to local amenities. The property requires some refurbishment and offered an investment opportunity for buyers.
Guide Price – £40,000.
Sold Price – £45,000.
Conway Road, Cheadle was offered in the Manchester auction and was quickly snapped up before the auction. A two bedroom detached bungalow offering huge potential for buyers to add their stamp.
Guide Price – £200,000.
Sold Price – Sold Prior.
Another property that was sold prior to the auction featured in the North East auction. May Street a three-bedroom mid terrace was sold with a sitting tenant offering a fantastic investment opportunity for buyers.

We saw competitive bidding in the North and Mid Wales, Chester and Oswestry auction. A two bedroom mid terrace property in need of renovation received a total of 33 bids.

The North West auction featured a variety of investment properties. Scotchbarn Lane offered a fantastic investment opportunity, a 5 x2 bedroom self contained flats.

The Scotland auction featured Keir Hardie Avenue, a two bedroom semi-detached property. The property required full refurbishment throughout and offered a fantastic investment opportunity.

Ramsey Road was offered in the South Wales auction. A three bedroom semi detached house in a popular location.

Sold Price – £95,000.
A three bedroom maisonette, located in one of the most sought-after areas of central Brighton just 80m from the beach and less than 150m from the iconic Brighton i360. This property saw high interest and competitive bidding with a total of 36 bids.
Guide Price – £300,000 – £350,000.
Sold Price – £350,000.
The South West auction featured a one bedroom cottage in a fantastic location, 200m from the harbour. The property was purchased prior to the auction.
