November Property Auction: A Look at the Results
Town and Country’s November Auction proved to be another successful national online auction with over £11.1m in properties sold.
Over the course of the month, we listed a range of properties, including residential homes, commercial buildings, and vacant land across the UK.
The auction garnered significant attention from buyers across the country, eager to participate in the highly competitive bidding process. The allure of the properties on offer, resulted in a fierce competition among potential buyers.
Auction Highlights
An excellent investment opportunity was offered in our Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire auction. Producing approx 16% yield, the property was purchased prior to the auction.
The London Auction featured an excellent investment opportunity. A terraced house, adapted to a five bedroom HMO. The property was purchased by an investor prior to auction.
Another property sold prior to the auction was Southbourne Road. A charming and imposing five bedroom/four bathroom stone built Victorian semi-detached family located in this first class residential area within walking distance of excellent amenities, the award winning Botanical Gardens and a wealth of fashionable bars/restaurants.
The North East offered a ongoing investment opportunity, with a 15 year long term quality tenant paying £550pcm was sold prior to auction.
The North Wales, Mid Wales, Oswestry and Chester auction featured a detached former lodge, having been built in 1910, is located on a good sized plot, not being overlooked in a popular area within easy reach of the M53 Motorway, with Liverpool and Chester being within a 20 minute drive. The property is in need of a scheme of refurbishment and has massive potential to create a stunning family home. A total of 15 bids were placed and the property sold for £165,000.
A large unmodernised warehouse is split over 2 floors, offered with vacant possession was sold at the North West Auction.
McGill Street sold at aution for £32,000. A one bedroom tenanted flat in Dundee producing a rental income of £450pcm.
Sundial Cottage was sold post auction for £1,190,000 in our South auction. A beautiful period home with open sea views and a wonderfully discreet and quiet positioning in one of the area’s most sought after roads.
Cilgynlle Fach was sold prior to auction. The property offered an incredible opportunity awaits for a buyer with vision to transform this four-bedroom detached farmhouse which is in need of modernisation. Set on approximately 4.8 acres of land, the property boasts a collection of traditional stone barns and a pasture paddock in a highly sought-after coastal location with stunning panoramic sea views.
The Yorkshire auction offered a rare opportunity to purchase a large lockable storage unit/garage with a strip of land to the side.
