June Property Auction: A Look at the Results
Town and Country’s June Auction proved to be another successful national online auction with over £11.5m in properties sold.
Over the course of the month, we listed a range of properties, including residential homes, commercial buildings, and vacant land across the UK.
The auction garnered significant attention from buyers across the country, eager to participate in the highly competitive bidding process. The allure of the properties on offer, resulted in a fierce competition among potential buyers.
Auction Highlights
We saw highly competitive bidding on Chaucer Avenue in the London Auction. A total of 125 bids were placed.
The property sold for £583,000 achieving £223,000 over the guide price of £360,000.
The Manchester Auction offered Kennerley Road an received significant pre-auction interest. The property offered buyers a fantastic investment opportunity, suitable for a family home or HMO subject to necessary consents.
The property sold for £293,000, which was £33,000 above the Guide Price.
The South West Auction offered Pynes Farmhouse. Pynes Farm stands as a spacious, detached residence boasting generously-sized rooms and lofty ceilings throughout. Its expansive garden offers delightful vistas of the surrounding countryside. While the property could benefit from some cosmetic touch-ups, it presents itself as a versatile abode brimming with possibilities.
Sold Post Auction for £375,000.
We saw competitive bidding on Blaen Y Fferam in North Wales. The lot was offered to auction at a Guide Price of £40,000. The property received 21 bids and sold for £63,000.
We saw fierce bidding for Rake Lane, Wallasey. The property was offered to auction with the clients as Mortgages Not In Possession.
The property sold for £114,000 with a Guide Price of £90,000.
A fantastic refurbishment opportunity in central Peterhead was offered in our Scotland Auction with an attractive Guide Price of £15,000. The property could potentially generate an income of £500pcm offering an incredible opportunity for investors.
The property was snapped up by a buyer prior to the Auction.
A detached freehold family bungalow set within a large plot in the very popular location of Crossways, Dorchester, Dorset, DT2 8BH.
A potential development project for investors and was quickly purchased prior to the South Auction.

The Yorkshire Auction offered Blue Mans Way and was quickly bought prior to the Auction. A modern four bedroom family home with ample living space and benefits from accommodation over three floors.
The Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire Auction featured this fantastic three-bedroom link detached bungalow in a popular location in need of cosmetic redecoration. The property was snapped up by a buyer before the auction.
The East Anglia auction offered a charming semi-detached bungalow in a highly desirable area. The property was sold prior to the auction.
