July Property Auction: A Look at the Results
Town and Country’s July Auction proved to be another successful national online auction with over £9.3m in properties sold.
Over the course of the month, we listed a range of properties, including residential homes, commercial buildings, and vacant land across the UK.
The auction garnered significant attention from buyers across the country, eager to participate in the highly competitive bidding process. The allure of the properties on offer, resulted in a fierce competition among potential buyers.
Auction Highlights
The Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire Auction offered Willaston Hall. A magnificent and imposing Grade II listed Hall constructed in 1700 standing in delightful formal gardens and grounds extending to 3.3 acres with an additional wildflower paddock to 1.55 acres affording most impressive, substantial and elegant accommodation.
This unique property was purchased prior to the auction.
Heath Road show plenty of interest and was purchased prior to the Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire Auction. A rare chance to buy a renovation project in Sandbach a historic market town situated in Cheshire.
The South Auction saw competitive bidding on Victoria Road, Cowes. A total of 9 bids were placed and sold for £120,000.
Maxwell Street a two bedroom terraced house in need of renovation was picked up by a buyer prior to the auction.
The London Auction featured a fantastic investment opportunity. The property received significant interest and was purchased prior to the auction.
The North East Auction an ideal investment opportunity, with a potential of increasing the market after refurb to £90,000 and a rental income of £650-£675 per month.
A total of 16 bids were placed on the Community Centre, Wrexham. Achieving a sold price of £104,000.
We saw competitive bidding on a penthouse apartment in the North West Auction. A 2 bedroom apartment achieving £8,7000 per annum. The property had 15 bids and sold for £21,500.
The Scotland Auction offered St Andrew Street, the property offered an exciting opportunity for investors with similar properties procuring £550pcm.
The property sold post auction for £43,500 offering a potentially healthy yield.

The South Wales Auction featured a recently renovated property in Aberdare. A spacious three bedroom house located close to shops, bus stop and offering excellent road links.
