December Property Auction: A Look at the Results
Town and Country’s December auction proved to be another successful national online auction. Over the course of the month, we listed a range of properties, including residential homes, commercial buildings, and vacant land across the UK.
The auction garnered significant attention from buyers across the country, eager to participate in the highly competitive bidding process. The allure of the properties on offer, resulted in a fierce competition among potential buyers.
Auction Highlights
A total of 125 bids were placed on the Former Royal Mail Depot. The property sold for £277,000 achieving £112,000 over the Guide Price of £160,000.
We saw competitive bidding in the South Auction on Kinson Park Road. A unique and individual home which offer huge potential as is in need of modernisation throughout. Built in the 60’s as a self build the property is part cavity brick and part timber framed construction. The property sold at the auction for £215,000.
Another property sold at the South Auction was Lind Street. A spacious one double bedroom apartment in Ryde Isle Of Wight with sea views. A guide price of £50,000 achieved a sale price of £77,000.
The Auction in the North West featured a refurbishment opportunity. Achieving £11,000 over the Guide Price of £25,000 the property sold for £36,000.
A fantastic opportunity to purchase this stunning home was featured in the South Wales Auction. A 3 Bedroom period semi-detached property with beautiful surrounding views, retaining many original features Located in Godre’r Graig and being convenient to Pontardawe and Ystradgynlais.
